A Current Brand
Saint Luis Rey is a pre-revolution brand established circa 1940.
It is a Habanos Local brand with a minor market share.
Comprises full strength cigars using a blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo and the Semi Vuelta regions.
There is a non-Cuban brand with the same name.

Release History
All but two standard production cigars were released pre-1960.
Two new cigars were subsequently introduced; one in 1988 and one in 2001.
Special Releases commenced in 1999 with the inclusion of Saint Luis Rey cigars in the Siglo XXI Humidor.
A single Regional Edition cigar was released in 2009.
The Saint Luis Rey brand currently consists of three standard production cigars.
