A Current Brand
Trinidad is a post-revolution brand established in 1969, but was only commercially available since 1997.
It is a Habanos Niche brand with a significant market share.
Comprises medium strength cigars using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region.
There is a non-Cuban brand with the same name.

Release History
From 1969 until 1996 (when this brand was officially released) only a single cigar was produced.
In 1997 this cigar (in a marginally different size) was introduced as a standard production cigar.
Additional new cigars were subsequently introduced; three in 2004 and a single cigar in 2009.
Special Releases commenced in 1998 with the release of the Cajón of 75.
There have been a number of subsequent Special Releases, commencing in 1999.
The Trinidad brand currently consists of five Standard Production cigars.
There are no discontinued cigars in this brand.

Cigars: Handmade.
Bands: Standard band B, plus X Festival del Habano band.
Packaging: Unnumbered black-lacquered BN case (20,000 made), 9 brands, 10 cigars.
Status: A 2009 release.  Boxes date from DIC 08.
History: This release is a replica of a special commemorative case gifted to attendees of the tenth Habanos festival in Cuba. The case contains a selection of standard production cigars released in the previous ten years. The case comes in a white cardboard outer box (that has the box and warranty seal attached) and a soft material cover to protect the high gloss presentation case.
